Longstone have friends in Japan and Japanese friends living in the U.K.
We looked for a charity or organisation to which we could donate the money raised from sales of the CD.
Eventually we decided to donate to a small project based in the town of Onagawa run by Mayumi (Sasaki) Suzuki .
Mayumi called the project "Genkidama" and she publishes a blog in both Japanese and English, please read them by clicking on the Monchicamera links in the side bar.
We are very pleased to say, that from early sales of the CD, we have already been able to donate 72,000 yen to Genkidama .

To help give this blog context and to give people some understanding of what happened to Onagawa I have reproduced some photographs of the town taken before and after the Tsunami . I don't know who took these photographs so they remain uncredited. In future I will try to credit photos where possible.
